TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated 19 August 2026.

1. Who we are

Strictly Fresh (https://strictlyfresh.co.uk) is operated by Strictly Fresh, a London fruit and vegetable wholesaler. These terms apply to every order placed through the site, whether a one-off order or a subscription. Full registered company details are published on this page as soon as they are confirmed for the Strictly Fresh trading entity.

2. Placing an order

Orders are accepted subject to delivery-area and minimum-order checks at checkout. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email, not when payment is taken. We reserve the right to decline an order outside our delivery area or below the applicable minimum.

3. The 11pm cutoff and delivery

Orders placed before 11pm (London time) are delivered the following day; orders placed after 11pm are delivered the day after that. Delivery is free on every order that meets the applicable minimum. We deliver to postcodes within our published delivery area only - check yours before ordering.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew weekly or fortnightly according to the cadence you choose. You may skip a delivery, pause, or cancel at any time from your account, provided you do so before 11pm on the day before your next scheduled delivery. Cancelling after that time means the delivery already in progress will still be charged and sent.

5. Box contents

Fixed box contents flex with what is at its peak at the wholesale market that week. The published contents for the current week are shown on each box's page before you order and are accurate for that delivery, but may vary from week to week according to seasonal availability.

6. Your right to cancel - perishable goods

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. However, fresh fruit, vegetables and other perishable food items are goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and are exempt from this cancellation right under Regulation 28(1)(d). This means once your order has been dispatched, you cannot cancel it for a refund on the basis of a change of mind. This does not affect your rights where produce arrives damaged, faulty or not as described - see section 7.

7. Refunds and quality

If any item arrives in poor condition, short, or not as described, contact us with details (and a photo where possible) and we will refund or credit that item. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Allergen information

Our mixed boxes are packed in a facility that also handles nuts. If you or anyone in your household has a nut allergy, please take this into account before ordering. Full allergen information for individual products is available on request.

9. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely via Stripe at the time of order (one-off orders) or on each renewal (subscriptions). We do not store your card details.

10. Promo codes and referral credit

Promo codes are applied at checkout and only when a valid code is entered - we do not apply discounts you have not asked for. Account credit (including referral credit, see below) is applied automatically at checkout once you are signed in and your order qualifies, and only up to the value of your order. Credit and promo codes cannot be combined on the same order. Credit has no expiry.

Our referral scheme is “give £10, get £10”: a friend you refer gets £10 credit on their first order over £25, and you get £10 credit once that order has been delivered. Referral credit is paid to genuine new customers only - you cannot refer yourself, and each customer can only be credited as a referral once.
